Killy is strong and stealthy.
Prerequisites
- Killy’s hardware
- HDPLEX chassis and power supply
- ASUS Z390-I motherboard
- Intel Core i9-9900K processor
- Corsair DDR4 memory
- Intel NVMe disks
- Make sure Killy has a wired network connection (VM bridge requires it)
Manual steps
- Retrieve Ubuntu desktop 20.04 LTS from https://ubuntu.com/
- Flash it to USB key1
- Boot image Ubuntu from the USB key
- Install the OS minimal configuration
- Format disk using LVM
- Reboot killy from disk
- Set comfortable display resolution
- Install git2 and retrieve installs/killy from the source code repository
Supplemental software
- Manage identity and login with GNU Privacy Guard and OpenSSH.
